The Eye of the Hurricanes Staff
Hurricanes Athletics needs you — to get your physical.
The fall sports season is upon us, and our football, volleyball, and cross country teams are all looking to add the missing pieces to their rosters so they can make a run at the region championship, but you can’t participate in practices or games until you get a clean bill of health.
Students who are interested in joining a sports team should pick up a physical form from the head coach or the front office, complete and return it with $10, and see the doctor for an athletic physical examination.
Even if you don’t plan to play a sport until the winter or spring season, it’s best to get your physical as soon as possible so you can participate in open season practices in September (basketball, wrestling) and October (baseball, softball, soccer, track & field) and avoid missing any preseason workouts.
