Donate blood, save lives

If you want to save a life, now is your chance.

The OneBlood Big Red Bus is pulling onto campus Aug. 22 for our first blood drive of the school year, and our school community has the opportunity to save hundreds of lives by donating.

The blood drive will take place outside the Guidance suite and run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22.

Donors won’t walk away empty-handed. All donors will receive refreshments, a free Top Handle drinkware cup, and a wellness checkup to include blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count, and cholesterol screening.

Any student age 16 or older is eligible to donate. Students who are under 17 years of age, must receive signed parental consent before donating.

Appointments can be made online at oneblood.org/donate-now using sponsor code 73795. Beta Club students will also recruit potential donors during lunch periods on Aug. 20.
